• cultural studies (literature and anthropology / art history and archaeology / film, music and multimedia) and/or
• development studies (socio-economic development / historical perspective)
• English (as a second / third language) with Andean or Amazonian language.

If you would like to study or tutor one (or all!) of these please write to the coordinator. Groups ideally should be between 5 -10 persons.

If you are a student and wish to reinforce the subjects you are studying already you may find that the 'ecd' approach will provide an extra dimension to that offered by the standard textbooks. For example cultural studies is largely influenced of Arguedas and post-Arguedian authors. Ecology follows through from the practical teaching of Dr Hamilton at the turn of the last century, through the work the Soil Association before 'ecology' became fashionable, to the evaluation of ecological footprints today.
